Spraying Instructions

Spraying equipment must have pumps, filters & nozzles that can handle 2mm for Zelp Powder and 0.5mm for Zelp Flour.

Applying Zelp Flour & Powder Through a Sprayer

• Due to the fact Zelp is highly concentrated, highly moisture absorbing and bioactive, it is important to mix into a slurry before mixing into a 200:1 liquid.

• To get a slurry, add 1Kg of Zelp to every 10L of water. It is very important you add the Zelp to the water, not the water to the zelp. ‘It is like mixing a highly concentrated gravy’

• When you have a slurry you can then mix up to the desired concentration of 200:1 or 500:1.

• Mix up immediately prior to application.

• Some people like to mix up the night prior to application.

• Can mix directly with water in the helicopter if they have good bypass circulation.

Mixing with Seed

Add Zelp to seed at sowing time. Add 2kg/ha in with seed mix, the addition of 10 - 50 kg/ha of Ag lime at sowing time improves the germination and growth of seed with Zelp.
